RainMaker supports pure Matter devices which once commissioned, do not need internet connectivity and can communicate with other Matter compliant devices. This type of devices do not support remote control.

RainMaker + Matter device

These devices are special as they are Matter compliant and also supports remote controlling through RainMaker. So, you get all the features of RainMaker in your Matter device.
